In the broadcasting world, is there a term for that vocal inflection that so many reporters do where the second to last syllable in key words is emphasized? I like it a lot.
"a couple dozen people, some dressed as turkeys..." "...WBZ Radio, 1030"

The usage in that clip is mostly what I meant when I referred to it as Brockman-esque. That, and I imagined a clip of Hans Moleman and the crazy cat lady carrying signs and walking in circles when I heard the soundbites.

I had the same thought. Me and the kid I was training today burst out laughing the first time we heard it. I wanted to ask Carl for his raw tapes so I could hear more of it.
