Hi!
Joey and I were on the phone for a long long time. Here is an edited version of our conversation.
A few notes:
- For some reason, the recorder didn't capture the first minute or so, hence the cold open.
- Apologies for the audio quality. This is the same issue we had with Skitch Patterson's interview. It's listenable if you're not cranking it up full volume.
- At just under 45 minutes, this is the longest entry in the RM Voice Interview series (we spoke on the phone for almost two hours). I was sad to cut out a lot of stuff, since we went really deep on a few topics. In the interest of keeping it light, some of the weightier stuff ended up on the cutting room floor. Still, I thought it was fitting, since Joey had the longest interview thread ever, that he should also have the longest voice interview.

The software that I use to record these calls is really simple and doesn't allow for much knob-twiddling. It's only really happened with Skitch Patterson and durdencommatyler.

The original version of that answer included something like "until the day KurtLeon draws a picture of me", but it was part of a longer point that I ended up removing for time.
