so about christmas - I think it's easy for many people to be depressed this time of year because many of us have very fond memories of it as children. so I think we want to re-experience that sense of elation about it and are disappointed when we don't.
the secret (for myself if not for anyone else) is to appreciate those times without feeling like i have to recreate them to enjoy the memory.

maybe that's my age talking...

anyone not in a good mood over the holidays - try to do at least one thing you enjoy doing any day of the year, it might help?
