I've never used snagit. The thing is, greenshot is so good it never gave me a reason to switch. Also, a quick google search tells me that you have to pay for the full version of snagit while greenshot is open source.

srsly though- snagit's pretty cool and there's zero learning curve- just a very clean little piece of software that lets you manipulate almost every aspect of an image, text, anything- I created an entire set of instruction manuals with it- so cool

What program are you using that displays the system info on the right? Reminds me of Conky for Linux, which I love.
It's very similar to Conky. I can't remember the name of the program-- I installed it once and never touched it again. I'll look at it when I get back home.
