Skitch, if that Land Rover is older than 2008 then it was actually a production of Ford Motor Co. Now it's owned by an east Indian Co.

PS: Nice ride Ruddo. I was looking at those - actually the Freelander. Hard to find a good used one because they aren't readily available.

I know, I worked for Ford.

My last vehicle was a 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland. In the first full year I had it I had about $1800 in repairs that were not my fault; and later a $500 deductible for running into a pillar in 24 Hour Fitness with my back passenger end. That fucking vehicle was the bane of my existence for an entire year.

I traded up and have 6 years of bumper-to-bumper warranty...a ploy I will be executing for the remainder of my life.

This is the second one I've driven. I'm not a huge fan of Jeeps!

I used to have a 2003 = Grand Cherokee and I traded it up even at a dealership for the Suburban. The transmission was threatening to need work. Same is the story with this 1999 I'm driving. My Suburban is stored because the engine needs to be pulled and I'm tired of putting money into it. Since moving to Colorado the Suburban has been the bain of my existence.

I'm planning on buying a car in the spring.

You would think if it was made by Ford it wouldn't be so hard to get parts for.
