I've done it before,

See I have a part time job putting up real estate sign posts for the local real estate agents.

Well, sometimes I go to take down a sign that has been sold or taken off the market.

Fucking owners, decide to use the sign post as a nice little mailbox stand, grrr.

It's my post, I'm going to take it, even though its now to short to use but still if you want to go make yourself a cross arm post for your mailbox go to the hardware store and get supplies to make your own don't steal my shit.

i'm not so sure of that, you might want to look this up.

I think anything involving destruction of a mail box is a federal crime because of the bills, the government notifies you through the mail about stuff, but I think stealing the mail is worse than smashing a mail box.
