shit. I gave blood at 1:45 (2.5 hours ago) and just now when I got up from the computer and walked down the hall I got dizzy something fierce. I had to kneel down on the ground. Then I tried standing again, and same thing.. a few steps and I had to kneel down again and get my head at heart level to make it stop. NOw I'm back to my chair but still feel a little fuzzy.
What gives? I've donated about 10 times before and never had this happen. Maybe Im dehydrated to start with or something.

Either you are dehydrated or you have low blood sugar (at the moment).
You didn't get up too fast did you? If my mom does that she gets dizzy.

well yes, it is definitely worse if I try to get up quickly, but there regardless. I drank a big glass of water and have sat for a while and it seems to be getting better.
