Have you ever buried something in a place and intended to come back to it a few years down the track to see if it's still there?
A few years back when I was in high school me and my mates made a metal recording of the theme song to that cartoon Roger Ramjet. We put it on a cd, and put it in a Coke bag. Along with Warhammer 40000 figures, dirty sports socks, a packet of salt and vinegar chips, 2 cans of beer and a bottle of Dr Pepper. We put the bag in this concrete hole at school, which for some reason had a metal cover over it.
It's the weekend coming up. I'm gonna see if it's still there.

in a tree at primary school. we put it in a glass jar, my idea. inside was a pen and a note describing the function of said pen.
i guess i figured the future would have come up with a pen alternative and they would have been lost to history if not for our valiant act.

What a fucking brilliant song.
"And stay tuned to this station" always brings a tear to my eye.
I wonder if they have Roger in America. He seems British.

1n 1990 i was in the 6th grade. we were the first class to graduate fro the brand new elementary school. the teachers and principal had us make a time capsule that the class from 2020 would dig up. well, one night in 1996, when i was a senior, and intoxicated, a friend and i decided to check it out a bit early.

seriously, who vandalizes things for fun?
we also planted a tree that day and i remember our teacher saying "in 30 years, when you bring your family here, the tree will be huge and you can tell your kids you planted it when you were their age." we chopped it down the night we burned the time capsule

Keeping things on topic, I have never burried a time-capsule in my life. I did open up am "owl capsule" in 5th grade when our class went to Camp Berrnie for a class trip.
