I pledge allegience to the flag of the United States of America.

And to our country.

For which it stands.

One nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for all.

(although if you are an atheist you don't have to say the under God part)

You don't have to say any of it if you don't want to. I went to school with a Jehovah's Witness who was not allowed to "swear an oath" and sat down during the pledge.

And vacate, very few of us do this into adulthood. I don't actually remember doing it in high school.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
