I actually just drove in from visiting my girlfriend earlier today and just got home. My roommate, who is all kinds of awkward, was sitting on the couch in khakis, a tucked in oxford and his laptop. This was about 3:00pm this afternoon, so well after he would have been in from church. No telling how long he had been there, but relax dude. It's Sunday!
As I came in, he said (to me or himself, I don't really know) "oh wow, I've been wasting my day. I should probably go outside". He proceeds to get a glass of water, go outside in those uncomfortable looking clothes, stand for about five minutes, then come back inside and change into jeans and a t-shirt.
He is now doing laundry, but he is staying in the laundry room while the clothes wash!
If I didn't know any better I'd say he found my weed, but he hasn't. He is a genuine case study in awkwardness.

Nothing wrong with being lazy on a Sunday at all. One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday (when there is perfect weather) is take the bus downtown to a place called discovery green where there is among many other things a sort of fenced in dog park with these perfect reading benches. I can sit there for hours, read, watch people come and go with their dogs and when I get hungry walk to the hot dog stand on the street.
It's laziness, but it's laziness in public so I still feel connected to the world.

My internal clock stops as soon as it's weekend Since I go to school my weekends are usually busy, and I'm kind of jealous of people who can just relax. Then I also feel bad because I can never do enough of what I planned. I can't wait until the holidays
groetjes, Mirella
