I want to go someplace next week. I get out of work (in Albany, NY) at about 3:00 on Tuesday and don't have to work again until Monday night, 6 days later. With the girlfriend, I'm spending Friday night in Burlington, VT and the weekend in Montreal. I'm going to drive back to Albany during the day on Monday, enjoying little Western VT things on the way down. What I don't know is where to spend Wednesday and Thursday. I could go up to Burlington early and do some hiking up there. Or I could go up into the Adirondacks and do some stuff there. I don't usually like to do hard hikes in the heat of summer though, usually just April/May and September-November. I kind of want to go to the ocean. And I will be alone for this part of the week. Not sure if I want to drive that far, though.

My sister lives up there. Lake George. I was there in April. Nice place.
