Check out this video of a pin getting pulled out of my thumb... http://view.break.com/370560

I had a torn ligament and bone fracture repaired surgically. When they took the cast off I was surprised to see the pin sticking out of my thumb. It was there to immobilize my joint to help it heal. When the doctor yanks the pin out, notice how he uses my forearm as leverage and really has to twist the pliers.

Lucky when I had this exact same thing it was my non masty hand :D

Wow, now I know what it looked like. Doc offered to video this for me and when I broke my cheekbone but I gave a firm no.

My wife had surgeries on each of her feet to realign ALL of her toes. If you think pulling out that pin looks gross, try it when it's infected. It just sliiiiiides out.
