Alright, well time to maybe make a change in my life and companies. I am a commercial real estate appraiser and I somewhat enjoy the career. Is it a lifelong dream? no, its not but for now it he;ps me pay the bills and get me some experience untill i find what i want to do thats a passion. Maybe it will turn into one.
not the point, fuck you. Anyways. So I have compiled a list of fellow appraisers in the Summit County Colorado area through the institute and I would like to contact them. not to set up an interview or push them for a job but mainly to set up some sort of relationship with them. Whats the best way in contacting these mofo's? Friiendly? tell them about myself? be honest with them and let them know i want to work out there cause i love the area? or should I go fuck myself?

Dear Whoever,
My name is 62Strat, and I'm currently employed in the St. Paul area as a commercial real estate appraiser. I've been in my job at whatever company for XX years, and have enjoyed the opportunities and business challeges it's provided me during my time within this company.
I may be relocating to Colorado in the near future and found your business in the process of researching the Summit County Colorado area. I'd like to take a few minutes to give you some basic information about my experience within this field, and have also included a copy of my resume for your future reference.
During my time here at whatever company, I have gained considerable knowledge and experience in XXXXXX fields, as well as XXXXX. Some of my achievments include XXXX. I've also been able to employ my abilities at (personal shit such as- good work habits, good customer service, good troubleshooting ability, - anything that you feel you excel at and which helps you do your job efficiently and in a professional manner).
If you are looking for someone to fill a position at your company who has the qualities I've listed above, I feel I may be able to offer you and your company the benefit of my experiences in order to help your company achieve and maintain greater profitability and success through my own contributions as part of your company's team.
Please feel free to contact me via any of the options I've included on my resume if you'd like further information about my work experience, as I'd be happy to give you more detailed information about myself as you desire.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
62Strat post whore cartman crippled kid trying to make a buck, inc.

you googled that, didnt you?
I mean, yea but thats so phony. Real estate appraisers arent like that. Not really in the real world...usually small, family oriented, couple employees...as that seems like its a letter i would send to target. Maybe, maybe not.
I appreciate it though and will reference it in the future. Sure as shit.

I wrote it myself in about 5 minutes time, and I don't know about you, but if I've never met these people before, I'd think it's a good idea to be as professional as possible upon first introductions (especially since you're taking the initiative here and contacting them) rather than try to get a job with them by saying something like : Hey, dude, this looks like a cool fucking place! Want a new employee?????!!!!!
Phony? yes. Standard for most businesses? Yes.
Better than assuming everyone will be as easygoing as who you've met so far and risk offense? yes.

I'm just sayin'
I completely agree, however I will most likely be more career specific in my correspondance. You are correct though. Its a nice template to work off of.

Anyone care for an update?
Well, i will give one anyway.
Had one phone interview with a single proprietor out in copper mountain/frisco area....
He says he may be interested in the near future for having some extra help (me being the extra help) but right now he's not sure cause his work brings him across the country.
I also have sent my resumes out to other employers and county assessors.
I may jus tmove out and get some part time work cause i hate my job and life here.
