the past few weeks ive been in the habit of getting to sleep around 4 or 5 in the morning and waking between noon and 1. i have work from 4 to 11 most days, so this doesn't leave much time for real world people time, and its really starting to get to me.
does anyone else live like a night owl regularly? i feel like ive gained weight lately too. i guess the best way to get out of the habit is to wing it one day with just a few hours of sleep and try and get to bed early that night.

This isn't really as cool as what you're talking about, but my work is such that I get up at 5:30 every morning, but I always stay up to the hardcore hour of....11:30.

I used to be cool.
Sigh.
LOL, same here. I work an 8 to 5 schedule, but everyone else in my house, and my boyfriend is 7 to 4. So when I sleep over at my boyfriend's house, I'm up at 5:30, either reset his alarm or wander home and sleep for another 45 mins or so before getting up, and at home the baby usually wakes me up around the same time, too. It REALLY screws my body clock.

You shouldn't have had a baby then.

I didn't, she's my niece.
Dick.
Hastings is just jealous that he can't procreate.

Dude, even if she WAS my kid, why would I sleep over at my boyfriend's house (who'd have to be her dad, considering I've been with him like a decade), without her?
She's my brother's. She's one. She wakes up about 5:30/6 am, strips naked and alternates between what we call the naked baby dance (stomps her feet and giggles in front of his mirror), and pounds on the door and yells for my mom. My brother sleeps like the dead, so he doesn't wake up, even though this is all less than 2 feet from his face.
