I took the train from Toronto to Vancouver, 75 hours, no shower, no bed, just the "four points" washing each morning and a new t-shirt and underwear. This was followed by a 2 mile hike across Vancouver with my huge backpack in 80 degrees and 100% humidity just to get on a four hour bus trip to Seattle, where I then met my friend at Safeco Field and attended a baseball game before finally making it back to his place where I was able to shower.

Nearly four days in some pretty funky conditions.

The first time I went on our school camp my mum had given me a big lecture about taking precautions to prevent tinea. She had me so freaked out about getting a fungal foot infection that I just didn't shower for the whole week.
