My college email canceled on me since I graduated, now I use Yahoo and I get spammed like a mofo. How can this garbage bypass my spam folder and go straight for my regular one I have no idea. Is there a decent alternative, I miss my old email account.

try going into mail settings and make sure the spam blocker is on

thats odd, most people i know go to schools that give you an account for life

Do most public schools do this sort of thing? I believe my school will terminate your email account a few years after you graduate.

well mine is a state school, so maybe that has something to do with it, but even people i know that go to private ones still keep their email

i've used gmail for years and i've hardly ever gotten spam in my inbox and its not like i don't get spam. my spam folder gets hundreds.

Same here. Only about 10-20 spam messages have landed in my inbox in the two years I've been using it. I had a yahoo account but, like g_v, it was bombarded with spam and I gave up on it after a couple of months.

I've had a yahoo account for years, and I rarely get spam in my inbox. It all goes right into my spam folder. Guess I'm just lucky.
