Hey guys I'm commenting in this thread about a pedophile bear and I am totally offended that that pedophile bear is tastlessly edited into that iconic photo detailing the tortures of war!

There's no such thing as tasteless on the internet.

You really have to have a twisted sense of humor to find that picture funny.

Guilty as charged. Hell, I can see the humor in photoshopping Hulk Hogan destroying NYC on 9/11, as absolutely terrible as that day was.
Really, I don't get it. We're in a thread about a pedophile bear, the key word there being pedophile. All of these photos involve the lusting after of children, and many insinuate that these children are about to be traumatized. But as soon as pedo bear is put in a picture that shows one of the worst sides of humanity... the same people who clicked on a thread about a pedophile bear get their undies all up in a bunch. It just makes me wonder where the line is drawn in some of your heads. So a pedophile bear is OK by itself (why? because it's fake? I don't buy that as it is certainly a representation of many, many sick people in this world) but putting that pedophile bear in a horrific image is not OK. Whatever, man.
Edit: This isn't directed at you specifically, frank. I just quoted your post to start my reply.

I think there is a very evident difference between that photo and the rest in this thread.
Why ? it's all pretty distasteful really. It's usually not a problem here.
It's pretty obvious, if you ask me. The photo is an iconic snapshot of a historical tragedy. It's the same exact photo with a cartoon bear in it. This is something that actually happened and sucked when it happened, not some random shit.
The other photos are random cartoons with cartoon bears in them, or shots of random, nameless characters, with the bear's eventual actions being implied. Michael Jackson may have been a douche when he was holding that baby, but nothing tragic resulted from that actual event. There's a difference between doctoring a harmless photo (some pregnant chick) and doctoring a photo which was hard for many to look at in the first place.
Honestly, I wasn;t offended by it, but I didn't think it was funny.

...ok, i think it's a little funny that we're questioning good taste here, now. Seriously.

Do you practice the belief that 100% of remotely controversial humor should not be laughed at?

What ? I don't care honestly, i just find this argument to be oddly politically correct, what with the pedophile jokes and all.
