Why ? it's all pretty distasteful really. It's usually not a problem here.

It's pretty obvious, if you ask me. The photo is an iconic snapshot of a historical tragedy. It's the same exact photo with a cartoon bear in it. This is something that actually happened and sucked when it happened, not some random shit.

The other photos are random cartoons with cartoon bears in them, or shots of random, nameless characters, with the bear's eventual actions being implied. Michael Jackson may have been a douche when he was holding that baby, but nothing tragic resulted from that actual event. There's a difference between doctoring a harmless photo (some pregnant chick) and doctoring a photo which was hard for many to look at in the first place.

Honestly, I wasn;t offended by it, but I didn't think it was funny.

...ok, i think it's a little funny that we're questioning good taste here, now. Seriously.

Do you practice the belief that 100% of remotely controversial humor should not be laughed at?

What ? I don't care honestly, i just find this argument to be oddly politically correct, what with the pedophile jokes and all.

Well, controversial humor is in bad taste by nature, but even considering that, there are lines that can be crossed.

What sucks most about that photo is that it ruined the mood of this thread.

poor HB...he just found a pic that he thought funny and wanted to share it with us and now it's all anger and hate here.

Guilty as charged. Hell, I can see the humor in photoshopping Hulk Hogan destroying NYC on 9/11, as absolutely terrible as that day was.

Really, I don't get it. We're in a thread about a pedophile bear, the key word there being pedophile. All of these photos involve the lusting after of children, and many insinuate that these children are about to be traumatized. But as soon as pedo bear is put in a picture that shows one of the worst sides of humanity... the same people who clicked on a thread about a pedophile bear get their undies all up in a bunch. It just makes me wonder where the line is drawn in some of your heads. So a pedophile bear is OK by itself (why? because it's fake? I don't buy that as it is certainly a representation of many, many sick people in this world) but putting that pedophile bear in a horrific image is not OK. Whatever, man.

Edit: This isn't directed at you specifically, frank. I just quoted your post to start my reply.

i agree with this comment of all pedobear being disgusting and bad taste...yet funny. keep on giving the morbid and creepy lulz, guys

Seriously, that dude is right.

Yeah he is. I just said "no" to that picture because that was my ultimate border of being able to ignore other people's strange taste in humour on a message board. The number of levels that picture was wrong on was just too high.

i just think pedophilia is so absurd and just fuckin sick that you just have to laugh at it sometimes in an out of context cartoony kinda way...or maybe not have too but do anyway just cause its a way to deal with the awful shit in this world...a defense type mechanism of sorts but its all in fun...just like laughing at people who are different...
like frenchie! :P
but the napalm girl was just fucked up...

i still laugh dammit!!
but only when i see the pedo...he/its whats funny not the traumatization...we're all going to hell anyway who are we kidding? :? :D

yeah, these are usually the best. One of my favorites is where the girl is running along the train tracks and he's faded out in the background.

You guys are ruining this thread.

I'm going to start a thread called, "Tell a joke, and then explain why it's funny".

OK, now see I find that fucking hilarious, but I guarantee you someone on here is going to think that one is out of line, as well.

Come on people, it's bear that stalks, molests and/or rapes children - there is no line, just enjoy it like I know you want to. :)
