i was gonna say.... i know not much about surfing, but unless you got a torrential rainstorm, how does rain affect your ability to surf?

in LA you cant surf 3 days after rain, because the sewage from the city and runoff from the street drainage go in the water :throwup:

I looked it up too... but I didn't see anything about Chicago. It was all Wis. from what I could see.
Wasn't saying it doesn't happen... I've just never seen it done in Chicago. :wink:

usually its south of chicago, though my friend has surfed in wilmette, its where i first surfed too

The only time the waves get that big, around the city at least, is during a storm.
