Brie tastes WEIRD
which is to say I don't like it, but if it's on the cheese tray I sample it thinking it's going to be different every time

it is far from being my favorite cheese (i find this a bit bland usually - goddamn smoking!) but when you wanna bring something and you can't gauge the people's openness and/or tolerance to weird tastes beforehand, Brie is a win-win.

i bought this once: and i really couldn't get around the smell of it and i usually don't mind much. sorry to put this bluntly but it really did smell like SHIT or, more accurately, a mix of shit and carrion. the odour even leaked though the fridge door i don't know if there's a big difference between Munster and Munster Géromé (mine was "géromé) but i won't approach this unless someone convince me it's worth the smell.

Must be, because all the munster I've ever had has been pretty mild, and not very smelly at all.
I'm stuck between sharp chedder or swiss for my favorite.

Brie is the pussiest cheese out there. I love how people think its so fancy so when its out there on a spread people flock to it like "oh my God, they have Brie!". It's like the sushi of the cheeses, trendy as fuck and overrated.
