K, so here's the thing. Recently, the Post Office has installed really crappy mailboxes behind our building so that the mailman won't have to come into the building and deliver mail to the whole TWO companies that occupy it.
The box is crappy - our slots are very small about 4 inches high and 10 inches wide/deep, as is the "outgoing" mail box is the same side, with a slanted slot to slide mail into.
Since this arrangement as been set up, I've had to mail out multiple sets of plans (we're a civil engineering company). They won't fit through the "outgoing mail" slot, but since we can open the door on our box, I left a nice note (On a post-it with a puppy wearing a hat), that it was outgoing, please take. Now, in my experience it has always been that you can leave outgoing mail in your own box and the mailman will pick it up for you. The next day it was gone - BUT there was a very NASTY note scribbled on the back on mine, to use the proper box for outgoing mail!
On top of that, we are CONSTANTLY getting other people's mail. Like I said, there's a total of TWO companies in the building - as it's still new. Us on the 2nd floor, and another on the 3rd. We also get mail addressed to the buildings on either side of us. One time, 3 of the same post card addressed to the KINDERCARE next door - you think that the bright playground equipment on the cards would have been a clue as to where they go, hmmm??
The guy from upstairs just came down with a pile of **4** envelopes for our office delivered to his just TODAY.
I don't usually complain about people, but this is absurd. Besides the general annoyance, we get a lot of important contracts and Township information through the mail, so he could REALLY hurt us on something with this half-assed bullshit service.
So, anyway, how do I even go about complaining about a postal employee? I don't ever see the guy (or gal) so I don't have a name or even a description. Has anyone else ever had a bad postal person to complain about? Where do i go, before this guy fucks us out of a decent job?
Or just complain about bad service you had, so I don't feel so alone. lol

I was a mailman, I used to piss in complaining people's flowerbeds. You've been warned.
Nice. I'm gonna assume you can read and therefore they deserved it.
We don't have a flowerbed. And I park my car on the opposite side of the building.
So i think I'm pretty safe.
Yeah She complained about me folding her mail to get into her mailbox. We've got a different system here, I had to deliver to every individual door. The box is on the door. Hers was 4 inches tall by one wide.Stupid fuck that she was. She had such nice roses as well
Call (or go by) your local servicing post office and ask to speak to the supervisor or branch manager. But be aware there are all kinds of rules they will probably throw out about why you shouldn't have done whatever you did and all these fantastic stats about how 99% of the mail is delivered correctly. I'd still complain though. We have issues like that with the post office all the time at the company I work for.

I can deal w/ not leaving out mail in our in box even if it means having to drive to the regular box.
There is, However, NO excuse for the stack of mail our upstairs neighbor had to deliver to use this morning.
