i would add experience to that..as in life without knowledge and experience......

the intellect alone is quite limited, esp. when we realize all the faulty thoughts our mind can create

we do need our mind to help process info., but to get all our ideas from intellect alone is a very limited prison style way to live..

I guess I'm just not sure when you say intellect, are you talking about the development of your mind (and opinions etc) from the collection of information through books and classes or do you mean something more like the process your mind takes information through in order to arrive as specific (and often incorrect) conclusions.

and in either case (or some other case that I can't think of) what other things should be taken into account to keep the mind from forming 'mistaken' thoughts?

(I'm good with essay questions, but no one every really reads them. :/ )

that's what she's talking about, more or less, just apply this thought to a broader application

if you were living on intellect alone, logically you'd always end up at a dead end
