Last night, wild game, me and the gal pal. Was I drunk? no. Was I buzzed? Sure. Did it matter? No.
second period we were enjoying a nice plate of cookie, whipped cream and ice cream dessert of some kind, it was tasty, full plate of it.
Well the wild scored, and with extreme caution i stood up to enjoy and partake in the celebration. So i am about to sit back down and i accidently bump the girl next to me (who was cute by the way, no, I dont have any pics of her) well next thing you know time stands still. Good. Slow motion at best as I witness my plate of $10 dessert soar through the air and land upon three older patrons seated in front of me. Hilarious.
They were upset, and understandably so. Everyone else couldnt believe what they just witnessed. Hell , i could, still cant. Inside Im laughing. Cause lets be honest...thats hilarous. Some in their hair, on their pants and jackets. Was it a huge mess? No, but still sloppy enough to be upset over.
Sure, but get over it.
I apologized, and apologized, and apologized. i said .."im so sorry, i don tknow what else to say, can i buy you a drink?
The man snickers... "uh yea, no,"
"a coffee, anything?"
"Well some people might go get napkins"
Right, so I hope up run, get some napkins help clean up.
"im so sorry, is there anything i can do?"
"you dont want to negiotate with me kid"
Oh ok, tough guy. calm down, yea?
listen, he had every right to be upset, for sure, i udnerstand. but at some point dont you just have to let it go and maybe help eleviate the situation. Everyone around me saw the humor in it, no clothes were ruined, everything was fine, accidents happen. The couple next to us were hilarious and good times about it though.

What a pussy. When i was in middle school i caught a Canadiens game in Montreal with my old man. We were in the second to last row from the top and there was this rowdy group of 20-something dudes behind us. Anyways the habs scored and one of the guys spilled his entire beer on me. Yeah shitty deal, but the guy leaves and comes back with a beer for my old man. Everybody is happy, except for me because i got nothing but a wet back out of the deal. Guy could have at least gotten me a hotdog or something .
Anyways, people are way too uptight about shit like that. As long as it was an accident and the offending person was sincere theres no reason to make a scene about it. People are packed like sardines in those seats, spills are inevitable.

Yeah but him thinking he was hammered is still no excuse to be a dick.
Great story though!
Lou... you crack me up
have you ever dealt with a drunk person while sober? I used to be a bouncer and it's the fuckin worst... they never think they're in the wrong... and you can tell their apology is hollow
plus if strat thought this was funny... then you can just imagine the smirk on his face... no matter how small... you know the old man picking whipped cream out of his ear could see it
if it was an accident then the guy shouldn't of been a dick...
but in cranky pants' mind ... the likelihood that it was an accident and not a drunk guy stumbling around is low
