Hmmm, I never listened to my parents (when I was younger).

My stepmom was assaulted in her driveway last week. She got away, but my dad got it all on his security camera (his house is literally worth 11x what mine is, so I guess security cameras make sense). Now he's gone out and bought 5 guns...including a double-barrell shotgun and a small pistol to conceil on his person at all times....as well as additional locks and motion detectors.

What I learned from my dad: overboard.

Isn't learning what not to do the same thing as learning what to do?
