Three factors were used to determine the harm associated with any drug: the physical harm to the user, the drug's potential for addiction and the impact on society of drug use.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17760130/

Research recently published in the medical journal The Lancet rates the most dangerous drugs (starting with the worst) as follows:

1. Heroin
2. Cocaine
3. Barbiturates
4. Street methadone
5. Alcohol
6. Ketamine
7. Benzodiazepines
8. Amphetamine
9. Tobacco
10. Buprenorphine
11. Cannabis
12. Solvents
13. 4-MTA
14. LSD
15. Methylphenidate
16. Anabolic steroids
17. GHB
18. Ecstasy
19. Alkyl nitrates
20. Khat

I challenge those doctors to have one group of patients take 5 servings of alcohol a day and another take one dose of LSD a day. We will see who's better off after 5 years.

The Lancet is full of PC sh*t.

Really though?

Now this may just be the stoner in me, but I can't see how pot is more dangerous than GHB, LSD, Solvents, Ecstacy, or anabolic steroids.

Would someone smarter than me like to explain this?

Well...one sniff, the other you smoke, and they usually have different consumers.

You can use either one in multiple ways. I'm not sure what usually having different consumers has to do with anything.

Yeah but... you just wrote what's written at the top... I didn't know if you were trying to clarify it, or what.
