What part? How long are you staying? What are you doing?

I went to New Zealand for 3 weeks a looooong time ago. It was beautiful but I think I'd need a few months to really take it all in. I was staying in Wellington. It was very windy.

If you see Deano, dry hump his leg and tell him it's from Sam.

Oh, and if you see Soma, punch him in the face.

I'm also in New Zealand. Where are ya Phil?

If he's saying it's amazing, he's definitely in the South Island. I'm picking Queenstown.

I'm going with Dunedin.

Incidentally, if I die suddenly and you guys find out - can you ensure my ashes are sprinkled in Milford Sound? Ta.

In my current mood with you and your mob Shades, it'll be in the Milford public bog.

Dunedin isn't pretty, well I guess it kinda is but it's more a student town than anything else. Therefor at this time of year, it's dead as a doorpost.

Queentown=stunning scenery Dunedin=student party town Christchurch=sporting mecca Wellington=entertainment capital (and the actual capital) Auckland=rat race with all the charm of a French waiter.

I have great memories of the drive between Christchurch and Dunedin (which is very scenic, but nothing compared to what's around the corner) and then sitting around in pubs drinking copious amounts of Speight's.

I couldn't get over the fact that it was spelled (I think anyway) the same as George Speight. So I had that baldy Fijian wanker's image in my head everytime I ordered one.

And that's about all I remember about Dunedin.

You flush may ashes down a bog - I haunt you forever more. My ghost will ravage your wife nightly.

Whoever said South Island wins... Christchurch, to be exact. The port hills are kind of cool and it's neat being able to go down to the pier at the ocean... but the traveling has been the best. We drove through Arthur's Pass (the Southern Alps were just amazing... particularly the glacier-fed rivers) to Punakaiki... we watched the sunset over the ocean from the pancake rocks, which was beautiful. Then we went on a cave tour/ went down the Nile on inner tubes... the glow worms are so awesome, the cave was stunning... and the river was fun, hahaha. Anyway, the whole experience has just been amazing... now there are just a few days left and lots more to take in. I'll post some pictures when I get home!
