so as some may know, i dont care much for change, hence i have had the same twin sized bed since i was like 7 or so. 3 years ago i bought a very nice sealy mattress and box spring for 200 bucks at a closing out of business sale.
last week i purchased a queen sized mattress and box spring and today i bought the actual bed at americas favorite store, IKEA
367 for the whole thing
sorry, thats just the bed frame. my mattress isnt here yet as i am also in the middle of rearranging my room so that when spike sleeps over, there is more room

oh i see. i just didn't read carefully enough. cool looking bed. you should have enough room to bed down with a couple of ladies in that one.

i'm a little confused by that picture. is that just a mattress with a duvet on top, or is it a box spring with a flimsy mattress?
It's one of their regular mattresses with the really really soft mattress toppers that they sell on top. I have one of their foam mattresses. I love it. I've had it for about 3 years. My hips haven't ached ever since.
it probably takes up 75% of my room, but thats why its called a bedroom i guess
so i had a plan hatched that i was going to say i bought this for my boyfriend as a surprise and they totally fucking ruined it.
alas i just went in and asked to speak to the manager. the one guy stopped me and asked what was wrong and i told him bluntly, you guys screwed up and i am not satisfied with the solution
i was told the manager wouldnt be back till 6pm and the lady who sold me the mattress then told me the set they were going to offer me would cost me 70 more bucks.
i looked at her and said, so cause you guys messed up i have to shell out more money? i have the reciept here that says delivery on saturday. had someone called me, i wouldnt have removed my bed from my room (which is the truth, my old box spring and mattress are in basement, but the bed framed got jacked and split when i was taking it apart)
she then gave me an upgraded mattress to the style i had as a single bed only in queen size
life can be fair sometimes folks, im here to tell you so

My girlfriend compares IKEA to disneyland, I guess it just has that effect on some people. Me, I just try to run through the damned thing and get out as fast as I can.
