Are you an American who travelled abroad and used your ATM card for purchases between 1996 and 2006? Then you are a member of the class and are entitled to get money from a class action settlement.

It seems a little strange that they are requested the Credit Card number, and definitely causes me to do a litte more research before I provide mine. You would think that you could provide your member Bank and card affiliate (VISA, Mastercard, etc.) instead of the actual number. Most Banks don't track by CC number anyway -- they do it by account number.

I thought the same thing, but my card is expired and I no longer bank at that bank, so I figured I was safe.

I received a mailing for this too, but did not have to provide credit card numbers, etc. Got $25 for it.. no big whoop, but I'll take money that they want to throw my way..
