Ordered some memory from Crucial.com last week, went to track the package a few minutes ago, Fed Ex site said the package was delivered....odd, I don't remember seeing a package at the door when I got home from work. Went back outside, no package at the door. Crap someone stole it.

Nope, looked to the left, package was in the bushes.

Thanks Fed Ex.

So I guess they just assume I should go rooting around looking for it? I mean it was like under the bush(lol) so I guess that could be the reason.

No. If I had not checked the tracking online I would have probably never seen it.

was it FedEx ground, by any chance?
those people are third party contract, not regular FedEx- and they treat deliveries like crap. :/

i just shipped something fed ex ground a few days ago. i opted for the signature upon delivery, though. maybe it won't get "lost" like your package did.

I had something shipped like this recently too, but I made the mistake of shipping it with their "ground" service with signature required, which are all sub-contractors who will only deliever between 8-5pm, when I can't sign for it due to a persistent case of full time employment. I could go picked it up from the warehouse, which is on the opposite side of the capital beltway from where I work, and they are only open from 8-5. They offered to upgrade my shipping for $30. I asked the guy on the phone at their call center if he had heard the word "extortion" before.

Way to go with customer service FedEx.
