there's an eclipse tonight? put your winter hat on and look up

It was a bit too cloudy over here.

i made hot chocolate for my daughter and we went walking in the streets to look at it until it was fully eclipsed (by 10 o'clock here). it was fucking cold but we had a good time since she's usually asleep at that time. she wants to make an exposé with drawings for her class tomorrow morning

i went outside when it was almost complete but had to come in from the cold.

I snuck outside @ work for a second around 11pm local time and saw something like this

I ran outside around 9:30 ish to check it out. I was barefoot and it had snowed a little, so I didn't stay out very long. It was effin cold and I still can't feel my toes. LOL

Clouds, lingering awful road conditions, and a meth crash prevented me from seeing this.

We were actually able to see this from where I live too, but I was too tired to go outside to try catch a look at it.

i saw it in LA. there was less light pollution in the east, which should be the case in chicago with the lake and all.

I grew up in the mountains... so it's never going to be as good, for me at least.
