right ring finger. 15. playing basketball. my buddy fell on top of me when we were going for the ball and i hit the ball w/ my finger at the wrong angle. it was totally gross looking.

right index finger. 16. playing football. i threw a pass and hit a lineman's helmet. i did, however, score on the play and finished the game. again, gross looking the next morning b/c i didn't go to the hospital until the next night.

right middle finger. 17. lifting weights. i was putting dumbbells down and didn't realize there were already dumbbells on the ground. pretty much smushed my finger.

right hand. 26. fight. don't fight walls. my mom was happy b/c i was her 3rd son to break his hand punching a wall. it must be genetic.

Bone: Left forearm (x2)

Age at Break: The first time, 13; the second time, 6 months later.

How? Playing left field chasing a fly ball in the gap and collided with the center fielder. The second time, playing football and someone landed on the forearm.

Remarks: The second time required surgery (it was compound). It still hurts when it's humid out.

Age at Break: 5

How? I was in kindergarten, playing in the 'kitchen' area. I was holding open a toy wooden refrigerator open by the top of the door, when another kid bumped it from behind. The whole toy fridge fell over onto me, and my finger was pinched in the top of the door. I think the top joint got dislocated.

Remarks: I got to go home early. They taped it up and I got lots of ice, but my mom never took me to the hospital. It's still crooked. :x

I broke a leg as a toddler. My mom hadn't properly secured me to my high chair and I slipped out and fell to the floor. I was in a body cast for a while.

Broke my left arm in fifth grade playing hide and go seek outside in a fairly dark area. It was a compound fracture and I was sidelined for 6 weeks.

how long did it take to live down the "kid who destroyed himself playing hide and seek" reputation?

the impulse purchase of a chevy cruze is clearly a manifestation of his frustration of never being able to turn this particular page

Left pinky, age 7. Second grade field day, I fell and it smashed against a rock. Hurt like a mofo but I didn't cry.

Heel, age 13. Jumping off the basement steps at my aunt & uncle's house.

Nose & compression fracture of my 3rd vertabrae, car accident. Spent the week of my 18th birthday in the hospital. Luckily no surgery or therapy but had a half body cast for three months and then a back brace for six weeks. That part was the first two months of my freshman year of college.

The weird thing about my arm break was it took hours for it to really hurt. It stung a bit immediately after the break. I went inside to wait for my mom to get there to take me to the hospital and it didn't really hurt at all. When they set it at the hospital it still didn't hurt right away. About an hour after though I was crying.

Is that normal?
