Dudes, I had a scary experience today. Woke up with a migraine headache, so I tossed two advil in my system. Couple hours later I took two more (liquid gells this time) and headache almost went away, but then I got sick to my stomach, almost fainted and headache returned.
I had a fairly empty stomach all day, only had a protein bar and a bagel....that's probably what did me in.
anyway, just passing along. I've taken four advils before and never had this problem, weird powerful stuff.

The prescription dosage for Ibuprofen is 600-800mg (3-4 tablets), so there's certainly nothing wrong with taking four tablets. I guess you should have some food in there though, although I thought aspirin was more often associated with stomach problems.

I once sliced a razor blade into my finger while trying to scrape off some old puddy in the joints between a sink and a countertop. When I ran out of perkacet after first day I took ibuprofin on the second day. I was taking about 8 tablets at a time, after a few of those my stomache was in the most pain it has ever been in. Not a smart move.

yeah, ibuprofin is scary stuff. It also sucks with headaches. It makes them worse, after a while because you "come down" from the stuff. Fuck Advil.

Was ibuprofin banned in the US at one time? I remember when I ruptured my ankle ligaments my doc gave me them. He told me that they were banned there. That was around 16/17 years ago.
