anyone ever do this? i am thinking about flushing my system but when you go to the store there are quite a few kits to choose from, none of which look all that good for you. i'd much rather go the natural route. a pilates instructor here at work recommended a book to me (the ultimate diet), but plug that into amazon and you get like, tons. i'll get a clarification from her next time i see her.
anyways, what are some detoxes that you people have done? how were they? i am looking for one that won't leave me starving and gorging by the end of it.
also, try plugging in "detox" in the search engine here. waaaay too many threads in OB.

I once tried something horrible with some kind of syrup but that was disgusting. I did not even last the day it was supposed to take. Drinking a lot of water, sport, and the sauna and occasionally a day with not much food, should be enough. Or just being sick with diarrhea. That cleans up too .

yeah, i'm going on a health kick at the moment that is pretty much exactly that. i teach swimming lessons pretty much all day for the next few weeks, so we'll see what all that sweating does.

that's what started this whole kick actually! this terrible stomach virus took me out of society for a couple of days, and afterwards my stomach couldn't digest an entire meal. i want to take it a step further though...full detox!

fyi my diet up until recently has almost totally consisted of supersized portions of fast food, hfcs enriched grocery store food, soda and coffee. i am finally repulsed by it all.

for how long? fruit and water, period? for the rest of my life?
Nah. 3 or 4 days. I've been doing it for 4 weeks. 4 days at the start just with fruit and water. Then one big dinner in the evening. Excercise is important too. I walk 4 miles every day.
To cut a long story short, I've lost 29 pounds. It actually works.

sounds good to me. i may try it and blog about my experience.
do you supplement with a multivitamin? i work at a health club, so the exercise should be no problem.

Well, natural is not going to fast food stores and other shops, but that would be days without food because your crop failed, or you did not catch anything there's not much natural about our current lives, is there?
