It simply alienates me, I mean I could maybe try to tolerate the guys if they could accept me as not being one of them.

I wonder if they know how unintelligent they are honestly, it's barely a step up from caveman talk. And it's funny their great moments are usually pieces of conservative rhetoric I doubt they even really understand.

hey I tried to get a job at a camp but in the end I found out it was a religious camp. On the phone, I'm all like "hey so it's a religious camp huh?" anyways he said he wasn't looking for more employees, then at the end I was like "I heard there was another camp over yonder but its a catholic camp eh?" And he said "yeah but they'll accept anyone". True story.

The camp I'm working at is run by the episcopal diocese but there isn't a single religious person that works there so it doesn't matter at all.

k a few questions first

are we gonna be self sufficient? or interact with society for the necessary things such as trading goods, or are we going to be largely involved in society and our colony will just be a home to go to at the end of the night?

quiet time can't be later than 1 am in my opinion i think we should strive for normal day hours to keep morale up.

dunno what to say except that I considered faking being a christian and going for it, and then I had all these day dreams where I taught the kids to be rebellious and think for themselves and then one of the bullshit kids goes and tells his parents and his parents speak to the minister and I get fired.

id say we will be largely self sufficient, but there are just some things that we'll need to interact with the 'guys' in order to procure. my grammar sucks right now because im on wine bottle numero 2.

i like the idea of quiet time. i even like the idea of going so far as calling it 'shut the fuck up' time. since we're not a bunch of pussies, no one will get offended by the swearing.
