So I have this female friend that I hung out with a lot two summers ago and we sort of had a thing for each other. Nothing ever happened, partly due to the fact that her and my ex-gf were good friends at the time. Now she moved to Austin and is dating the roommate of another good friend of mine, and we've hung out as a group a few times since the school year started. I still think this girl is really, really cute and we always a flirt with each other. Her boyfriend is really nice and I like the guy a lot, but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed and is one of the more oblivious people I've met in my life. This only makes the whole thing worse and last night I was being really ridiculous. I don't want to be disrespectful, but it's way too much fun to ignore it. Not really looking for advice here, just wondering if this is bad of me. If a tree falls in the forest, right?

Yeah. He lives with my friend Matt, who wants to be a playwright, and Matt's gf Sarah is always over there and they're both cool as shit. The guy actually isn't that dumb and shows occasional flashes of brilliance during pothead conversation, he's just one of those people that doesn't notice details and is always like "wait, what?" Hence the flirting going right over his head.

nothing wrong with poking a little fun at some dope innocently, but yeah, if he's good for her and your motives are to break them up, you might be a jerk. you just kinda gotta wait and let her realize this guy's shortcomings - morally, i wouldn't make a move.
