who would u choose? and i mean someone other than a close loved one and someone who didnt die of natural causes. so who do u wish didnt die at an untimely time but instead lived on? and why did u choose this person and what impact do u think they would of had if they lived until 70 or 90?

yeah if not acting on the impulse of gee I want this relative back which I could probs rationalize as a bad thing in time. I probably wouldn't have an anyone back. Death is a gift.
you know if he did live for 9 more years we would be partying like its 1999 and maybe prince doesnt write the song. but do u think there would be bigger changes in history

no
I'm not even sure I'd care about jesus in any special way, and that's if he existed as some normal guy doing a good job, whatever

do u think jfk, mlk or john lennon would have made the world better if given the chance? death isnt a gift, its an inevitability. i wouldnt say we all have a gift awaiting us. now maybe life is a gift.

I feel this life is trivial, or maybe I just angry that I still haven't figured out how to live it

I thought the calendar was based on his birth, not his death.

it is trivial but it doesnt mean u should wait for death. i assume u know what makes u happy right? try to live that way all the time. easier said than done but its possible. 2 things u need to do,
1 - take the words 'i dont know' out of your vocabulary when someone asks u anything about yourself. in essence KNOW everything about yourself
2 - understand everyone else by keeping an open mind.
once you know yourself and understand everyone else, you can easily connect the dots from angry to happiness

u should have said that with more conviction. you are indeed right

Lincoln Reconstruction would have been much more successful under his guidance. The Andrew Johnson Presidency created unnecessary political distractions, and the scheming behind the election of Rutherford B. Hayes which prematurely and disastrously ended Reconstruction would have been avoided.

the south and bigotry did survive way past their due dates.

jesus, so when i'm purgatory i won't be so lonely
was jesus just a regular dude who had some crazy stories told about him, in your mind? it will help me better understand your answer
well it was a joke in 2 parts. 1st part: jesus "died for our sins" and he opened the gates in heaven, so if he never died, those gates would be closed and purgatory would be full of people. so it would hypothetically be a problem that undoes all he did for us. 2nd part: self-deprecating implication that i don't have what it takes to make it to heaven, so if jesus didn't open those gates i'd have a lot more people to hang out in purgatory.
basically don't take my comments too seriously, because then i have to explain myself, which usually dismantles any humor or brevity that once existed, and replaces it with drawn out explanations of "what i meant, and why i said it"
