Coulda put this in other bands, but thought it was lame enough to go in GD...
Some kid on the official Counting Crows message board (Crows are supporting the Who in Oz):
Oh and give me Goo Goo Dolls or Maroon 5 over the Who any day of the week, if that was the case I might just decide to stay for whole show and not waste my money on some band my father think are old. It’s all a matter of personal view, the point is we are here cause we love Counting Crows, not the who. Adam may even love the who, and probably does, hence the tour, doesn’t mean the rest of us do, or could even name a single song of theirs, cause I can’t.Anyway, im going to Adelaide alone and Perth with my wife and im going to enjoy every second of Counting Crows show I get!

I am fucking speechless. Goo Goo Dolls or Moroon 5 over the Who? And you're married? Can't name any songs by the Who? My Generation? I Can't Explain? The Kids Are Alright? Age has fuck all to do with it. I ain't a big Who fan myself, but their current show is fucking amazing, judging by their latest DVD. I'm sorry to say, but they're gonna kill the Crows live, in terms of pure ROCKIN'. That's a fact. I'm not talking about what you PREFER, I'm talkiin' abuot a big fuck-off rock 'n' roll show-the Crows do not stand a chance. Flame away. I'm impervious to insults from people who don't know enough about music to name a single song by the fucking Who.

wow. this is one of those simple tests i have to measure whether or not i want to waste my time talking to someone.
others: people who go to magerks in bel air. people in their twenties who go to ocean city for a week during the senior week season as their vacation. people who shop at home depot on saturdays and dont know what the fuck they are talking about. people who own any cds from american idol contestants. people who have 'its a jeep thing.. you wouldnt understand' stickers on their jeeps. the list goes on...
