lets discuss this now, though. because have you not simply taken completely unoriginal ideas and melded them into one pot? how is that unique? procrastination, pearl jam, REM, sports, philosophy... those aren't "unique" are they? nor is it unique in the likely manner you've fastened those very nebulous, grand ideas to your own ethos, as it were. maybe its unique in the way you've combined them and they all kind of meld together to create something different, but we're all the product of our own vices and loves and whatnot. and you share those things with millions, sometimes billions of people.

im not picking on you because we're all pretty much the same way. you're different from others, but unique? how? we all think within the same construct, our minds just work on tiny, minute fractions of a different wavelength. otherwise how could we relate on a human-to-human level? or understand each other? somebody might cut his hair different or listen to different music, but its not unique, its just different. uniqueness, on a very gutteral, basic level, doesn't really exist in this kind of construct. its more of a separate state of mind.

i've seen people with the potential to do it, they just aren't as self-actualized as myself

but i mean whether it's unique or not

i just like posting facts and thelike about myself on fairly anonymous message boards

but truly
i always wanted to do like match.com
just to see what it comes up with and says about me

not to actually meet people(real life/internet intermingling's a little intimidating///well not really, but in a way, odd, and how it's looked upon by society... plus i'm 18 and would rather meet someone drunk at a bar or party or something or sober but essentially the same is true)

the more i "do" this the more i wonder why internet dating is considered such a bastardized version of meeting women. like getting them in a real life socially awkward setting is any weirder than doing it online, where you can actually see what they like instead of having to wade through a buncha whores who dont know their ass from their elbow

oh
i don't necessarily have anything against it(my best friend met a girl thru myspace and seems really really happy/although now he has this fear that if he loses her he'll end up alone like his dad :( ..)
but there is always that odd fear of the unexpected, that is somewhat lessened in real life, although that's not to say the unexpected won't come up, just it won't be the whole somewhat shallow what if she doesn't look like the pictures; both can turn out to be crazy without seeming like it on first impression i guess.

but yeah there's a bit of a social bias against it, although it seems to have become more mainstream.
