I voted for him, I think he's swell, and I'm sick of this too. However, it is really amazing that after 8 years we never have to see George Bush as our president again. Bush being gone >>>>>>>>> Obama being sworn in.

You don't realize how bad the near future is going to be.
Also, being happy Bush is out of office is not dwelling on the past. Hardly. It's actually the opposite. I would be happy with ANY of the people that ran for president vs. Bush. I'm happy that he is being replaced. The fact that it was Obama is just a slight bonus.

So, I was at my friend's house earlier tonight. She's got one of those big HOPE posters that are everywhere, you know, the red, white and blue ones. She keeps it right behind the window on her front porch. Well, tonight we noticed that there is a small b.b. gun hole or something of that nature in the window.... right in line of where Barack's forehead is. We moved the poster over a foot after this was discovered.

I voted for the guy and I agree, it's been overkill.
my dad is a semi republican, and isnt a fan of anything thats going on today. however, i usually take the other side of whatever hes talking about, but i do have to wonder what his presidency will look like on the other side, when hes not just a historical first but also a success/failure. i feel like no matter what, the media will paint him as one of the best presidents ever.
