when i was 8 years old living in suburban Charlotte, a young girl name Latosha Riley would often knock on my door after school when i was home alone awaiting for mom and dad to come home. Little Latosha would always want to 'play' with me. this usually involved trying to get me to kiss her or something else very unchildlike.
when she knocked at the door, i would either not answer it or tell her i am busy with homework or something else very important, because i was a very naive and shy little boy. sometimes, at my most devious, i would peek through the blinds of the living room and watch her pound the door furiously. she knew i was watching and told me to stop and just answer the door. it was my little-boy way of taunting her and playing hard to get i suppose.
when she stopped pounding on the door, i would usually resume staging elaborate battle scenarios with my godzilla action figures.
two years later, on my last day in Charlotte, i kissed Latosha on the cheek. i told her i should have done that much sooner. then, in the years that followed, i grew up. i shelved my godzilla action figures in favor of blossoming young women. instead of hiding, i would soon begin chasing my attractive classmates.
sometimes i wonder what little Latosha is doing now.

this happened to me recently as well, we were even fingerpainting at the time, then i wet my pants and she cried about something insignificant, and then we went at it vigorously
