I've considered looking for a group to do a crazy adventure with, like South America or Australia. It was also suggested that I should just head back into the mountains but this time with no destination and no car. Just a back back and hitch hike everywhere do the hostel and camping thing. Maybe work in an orchard. Even head down to california. Iunno I'm nervous and excited about the idea. It could be a great cleansing. But a trip with other people to somewhere more exotic would likely be easier and more carefree. Iunno kids, give me your thoughts.

on a serious note, i think the whole going with a group to SAm or Australia would be fun, since you'll get to enjoy the experience with others, which I've found tends to make things better(and especially since it gives you people to reminisce about the trip with in the future). I'm assuming you have some expendible $$ to make this thing happen?
Then again, I've never gone on a big adventure(I've never even been out of the country) so I'm just thinking of smaller sclae things I've done and applying those experiences to the things you're talking about.

The thing about going with other people is that put limitations on what you can do obviously. I went alone last year and it was very good. But I had a lot of comforts; a car, my lap top etc. Going just with a back pack WOULD make things a lot scarier, but it could be great. Also the thing with Australia is the costs go way up if I were to do something like that, the plane ticket starts me off at 1000 dollars less or so. But yeah I dunno. Just trying to feel it out at this point yanno?

After college, one of my friends wants to start in Texas and just bum our way down to the southern tip of South America. On one hand, it might work because he's from Brasil and puedo dominar el espanol, but on the other hand they're not too kindly to Americans down there. I do have my Canadian passport though.
