I had this girl move in October 15, 2008. Im on the lease. She rented one of the rooms from me. Most places require first, last months rent and full security deposit. Me being the too nice and trusting guy that i am just let her move in and pay for the remaining month of October. Figured i'd throw someone a solid as I know how difficult it is to find housing up in Vail before winter season.

So she moves in.

Was fine, got along great. Turned out to be a major fucking pothead. couldnt function without it. Said it was meant to be smoked inside and there was no fucking way she was smoking outside. i dont smoke. Fuck you, bitch.

Anyways, my lease ended December 1, 2008. I had originally intended to renew the lease but the job fell through (see previous gay posts of mine)

So i ended up moving out. She took over the lease, had to sign it and give security deposit and all that. we left on good terms and i let her use my furniture with a verbal agreement that "its yours anyway, whenever you need to get it and do whatever if you move back, let me know, its yours" etc..etc...

Well, a good job came my way and im about 95% sure ill be moving back there in a month or so.

I texted her to let her know.

she called at me and spazzed and yelled at me for 10 minutes about how big of a selfish asshole i am.

She is holding my furniture hostage. Couch, tv, tv stand, coffee table, end table, patio furniture, grill, desk, bed.

Fine, i can get another couch, tv stand etc.... all i want is my fucking tv/tv stand patio furniture and grill.

Nothing. She is freaking out on me. She is a spazz.

She is a typical pothead. Not exactly a formidable opponent. Tell her you'd hate it if there was an "anonymous" phone call to management and the cops about her pot smoking. Take what you want and make her ass pay for the rest.

she is acting this way because she probably feels attached to the furniture and doesn't want to spend the money nor go through the hassle of getting new shit moved in and being furnitureless. you're not an asshole for wanting your own shit back is what I'm getting at, strat.
