I think it happens to a lot of us, Mickey. Honestly, you need to get in your car and drive. Do you ever really do that? It's so good for the soul to get away, and there is something about having that space in the car to yourself while seeing the world go by your window. Full albums are a must, and you need to take backroads and see where they lead. Condider it a sort of retreat.

It doesn't cure depression but it does help you look at the world in a different way. You don't need a car either, it also works if you go walking around a part of your city you have never been. Don't forget the headphones.

I think it's called seasonal depression or something. Lots of people get it during these months.

When I don't feel so good, I just smile. Or laugh. For no reason. It's make me feel a lot better. And then I just forget about whatever was bothering me. Today someone at work was like "What's so funny? Why are you always smiling?" And I'm all "Why not?" And she was like "That's a good attitude." LOL

Kind of like "Fake it til you make it."

i dont think im that great at this... it ends up coming out sometime eventually, either sober or more likely under heavy inebriation

Maybe I'll try this. I don't have a car, but maybe I'll walk some parts of Tallahassee at night.
