We just had about 45 minute bullshit session about pot here at work.
I was surprised with how many people joined in on the conversation and how many people are so open about it now. Even some of the older employees started getting nostalgic about their days of selling pot or making baked goods with marijuana butter.

This was an eye opener for me because I didn't realize so many of the people I work with have had experiences with pot and are not afraid to talk about it at work. They all seem to dig smokin da buds, man!

I work in a very well respected news room and a shitload of them smoke.

I'm a journalism student. You can bet your ass some/most of these people smoke. Last year when I went in to meet my advisor for the first time. I was wearing one of my Sonic Youth shirts. She told me about how much she liked them when she saw them open for Pearl Jam in the early 90's.

i mean obviously this has nothing to do with actually smoking weed, but you get the idea...

I have had some really bad experinces with this. You think you can trust people especially the ones who look like they smoke weed but they apparently don't. It spreads pretty fast. But people in Oklahoma suck ass, so screw 'em.

Nearly everyone at my work smokes the herb. Some of them are willing to talk about it, others do it but keep quiet (except to another one of the line chefs that I went to school with, who ends up telling me what they said anyway).

today without thinking i made a statement to a co-worker, (who i hardly know), 'if i had pills that i was trying to avoid detection from a sniffer dog, couldn't i put them in my ear, hair or bum' so they couldn't smell it and he was all like

not always. a lot of real shitkickers smoke.

but you cant judge a person based on whether or not they do. my little sister, shes 16, and shes getting busted left and right. and my parents try to say all this bullshit about how ALL people who do drugs fuck up, when its counterproductive to even say it. it just discredits anything they say that makes sense.

Just kidding. I guess I'm just pretty lucky that my mom's cool with me smoking pot all the time. I get good grades and all, it doesn't fuck with my education, so it's all good.
