at work this morning we were without power. being the IT guy and office do everything else guy, i called duquense to be sure our area was reported.

this dolt that just started two weeks ago tells me, i talked to duqense and they said earliest would be noon today and the latest would be 6pm tomorrow. i agreed and stated this was the time frame they told me.

in front of about 6 other employees, he says, so when do you think we will get power back?

the last nerve (*this was spelled never which caused the headache) was reached and my reply, that was dripping with both agitation and sarcasm was, yanno, i resigned from duquense light two weeks ago, so i am not privy to that information.

everyone laughed except another new employee and she says, theres no reason to be a smartass about it. i said to her and everyone, if you ask me such a stupid question like that every one of you can expect an answer in kind.
