this would be a welcome GD development. upon registering your account, you get X number of posts. instead of displaying the number of posts poster X has made, it would display how many posts poster X has remaining before his or her "trial" period is over. once poster X has exhausted their trial amount, g2t, dkfan, and myself vote on whether to extend poster X more posts.

I like the word 'audaciousness.'

This idea of post allotments is interesting and cutting edge. I've never heard of it being done elsewhere, so let's forge new traditions. Tally ho!

If you weren't voted back by one week's judges could the new judges coming in the next week vote you in instead?

judges cant be voted, they would only be nominated by the judge they replace
