I've had a couple Annie Hall moments in a movie theater line where I overhear someone talking about a movie and they either don't know a certain piece of information or they get something wrong. And I'm tempted to turn around and correct them or give them the information. On occasion I will. But when I do I mostly likely get a look from them that says, "Don't listen in on our conversation you creepy bastard." Ah excuse me? Don't give me that look when you talk loud enough for people around you to hear, and plus you get the facts wrong. Assholes.

I love that movie.
This is pretty nerdy, so bear with me here. A few years ago I was studying at a coffee shop with my theology major roommate when a table next to us was full of Rice know it alls that happened to be discussing philosophy. Now, it's become sort of an unspoken thing where I'm from that in mostly Catholic and academic circles, St. Augustine is pronounced "uh-gus-tin" instead of "aw-gu-steen". These Rice guys kept pronouncing it the second way and it was irritating my roommate to no end. I thought he was about to approach them, but he would have really made an ass out of himself.

My office has thin walls & the 280 lbs woman on the other side of it was on the phone one day I heard the following:
"Are you gonna fuck me good later?" *pause* "I've got the Maglight in my bag" *pause* I already called Kelly, she said she has 4 tabs." *pause* "Just get ready to fuck & I'll take care of that. bye"

Waiting for a final exam to start last semester, a kid sitting in front of me said to his friend: "Time is like a sharp stick up my anus, and there's never enough of it."
Man: I just don't know why it had to be so dramatic. Woman: Joe, she kicked me in the face. Twice.

I found this note at an abandoned table at a bar I was at last night, scribbled on the back of a karaoke sign up card: "I wanna stay up all night can we go to walmart in Norwich now or I'll go home with somebody else" Norwich is about an hour away from here, and there is a Wal-Mart literally 8 minutes away. Also, I'm not sure if that last part "or I'll go home with somebody else," is a threat or not. Just something strange to find.
