I'm not sure what I wanna be anymore.
Some of my earliest ambitions were working with animals somehow which I still have in consideration and being a comedian; I was working on a stand up act a couple of weeks ago, but I don't really consider it a profession option.

I wanted to be a mother, a teacher, a journalist for the guerillas, an architect, famous, and rich. I'm working on becoming a teacher now. Dropped the journalist, architect and famous part .
groetjes, Mirella

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys 'R Us kid. There's a million toys at Toys 'R Us that I can play with. From bikes to trains to video games at the biggest toy store there is. I don't wanna grow up cause if I did, I couldn't be a Toys 'R Us kid.

I don't know how much you'd like the aggie crowd. I'd caution against something animal related.

You may have to associate with honky farmers to become a zoo doctor. At least I would expect most vet programs to be at ag schools.

My friend and I were talking about this last night, over many whiskeys and vodkas. We're both nurses, and he's particularly burned out by it. (Trust me, it's a job that makes you very fucking cynical, about EVERYTHING, very, very quickly). He's gay, and he's thinking a 'trolley dolly', which I think is an airline steward. Is that what they're called? The people that serve you stuff on the plane? Steward? Stewardesses?
I always wanted to own an independent record store, because a good part of my teenage years and 20's was spent in them looking for old vinyl singles, rare pressings, promo items etc (I'm a big collector of PJ 'artefacts' as it were). I love little record stores, but they're a fucking dying breed.
On my frequent trips to London over the years I've been in Ireland, I always made sure I had a day to go all the way down Berwick St and Wardour St where all the indie/second hand record stores were. The last time I went, most of them were gone. I think they shut down, and a lot of the owners sell the rare stuff on ebay as it's a global market and they can get more cash. Fucking depressing. The smell of musty boxes, all those racks of 12 inches in plastic sleeves, CD racks ('Oh, a 1 track 'Not For You' promo-I'm getting this!)...
:misty-eyed:
