no the bathroom is kind of small and sometimes people come in for a long time and shave and brush their teeth, which i think is kind of odd for a public bathroom, although i suppose jerking off would be even odder. my boss gets suspicious of anyone who goes to the bathroom longer than 5 minutes, but she's not in this week. she told me she thought an ex-employee had a coke problem and i believed her until she started saying the same thing about this new guy that just went to the bathroom to wash his hands a lot

well most of our clients are in their quiet periods right now. one isn't but they're done with marketing and conferences for the quarter so its kind of slow around here.

how did this work out?

workplace small talk is the worst. actually, i take that back. extricating yourself from small talk with a coworker that has gone on far too long is the worst.

I'm lucky in that I like my coworkers and actually like talking to them as well.

well its kind of weird because i'm in a small office thats never more than 4 people and usually only 3 all in at the same time but right now its just me and him so its very quiet and we usually have a lot to do so there's not that much socializing going on. i talked to him a little about march madness but i haven't followed it this year so i had to limit what i was saying without embarrassing myself. that was pretty much it. he's a nice guy but difficult to talk to.

hopefully he doesn't read RM.

i like everyone, except my boss is insane so i think it causes everyone to dislike everyone else associated with this place. definitely a rotten apple thing going on here.

i like few people in general, and even fewer of my coworkers.

i'm lucky that my cubemates, for the most part, aren't real sociable and keep to themselves. but sometimes busybodies from other branches come over and try to shoot the shit with me.

i've found earbuds to be excellent mouthbreather repelent.

Yeah, mine are all old hippies basically, so we get along pretty well. I like to hear their stories about doing way too many drugs and they like to live vicariously through me.
