I've got a nearly blank canvas to work with too. Nearly.
True story: My ex is computer illiterate, pretty much. But he knows how to find porn online. So he's not completely without hope.
A few weeks ago, the gal that my ex got caught with (4 years ago) tried to friend me on facebook. Last night after talking to the kids on the phone, my ex hinted around that he wanted to open a facebook account and wondered if it was too much to ask if I would friend him.
So like I said, I nearly have a blank canvas to work with. The gypsy was right when she said I would meet a person that I was going to end up spending the rest of my life with.
All in all, I have to balance remaining friends with my ex and still explore the new avenues of being an individual.
